Aloha my name is Jonathan Sanchez, founder and owner of Emerald Painting LLC. I am a third generation tradesman stemming from a long line of dedicated construction workers. I started working in the construction field at the age of 14 when my father had taken me to work with him where I served as a carpenter’s assistant.

That summer was the beginning of learning strict work ethics and a code of morals that was instilled in me by my father that I carry with me everyday. I try my best to pass on these qualities to my team and make it a priority that each of my employees act as an extension of myself on and off the job site.

My father, Juan Sanchez Jr., works side by side with me today and serves as my official handyman, painter and mentor. It was always a dream of mine to start my own construction company and have my family be apart of it..

Today those dreams are being realized through hard work and determination, something that I do not take for granted. My painting career began at the age of 18, starting out as an apprentice painter. Quickly, I climbed the painting ranks becoming a journeyman painter by the time I was 21.  From there, I ran my own crew and served as a job site supervisor for five years.  Now, getting to start my own company has been a dream come true and we strive to be the best painting company in Hawaii.
